Backyard Update

Ever since we bought our house, we have been desperate to redo the backyard. As we knew it would be a huge undertaking, we just tried to ignore the sad backyard for the past 2 years. But now, as we have the house finally where we want it, we decided to turn our focus onto the backyard. When we bought the house, the backyard was just a lot of weeds, with no sod, tons of trash trees and absolutely no thought or organization to the random mixture of plants and trees.

Our first task was to hire some tree guys to come in a remove 10+ trash trees. Just the simple removal of these trees made such a huge difference. But, we still had a long way to go. With our desire to have a garden and Jerrod's incredible creative ability, he set out to develop a backyard plan and hired some landscapers to execute his plan.
